Personal Coaching
Program for Business Writers
(Personal
Coaching)
Coaching Outline
Business
writing is a unique style of writing. In requires the writer
to pay attention to clarity, conciseness, organizational formats,
grammar, visual appeal and tone. Business writing differs
dramatically from academic writing; yet many writers still
try to apply the outdated writing rules they learned in school
to their business correspondence.
This leaves
them with documents that are inappropriate for todays
business world. Not only can this lessen a professionals
image, it can also impact the writing style of his or her
whole department. In addition, poor writing can cause vital
information or ideas to be lost or overlooked.
Staff
could take a one-, two- or three-day workshop to upgrade themselves,
but they may not have the time. Outlined below is an individualized
training alternativeThe Persolalized Coaching Program
for Business Writers.
The
Program is a two-part process designed to provide people
with a confidential assessment of their business writing skills
