
Jane
Watson is dedicated to advancing business communications
in the government and private sectors.
After graduation from the University of Waterloo,
she joined the Ontario Government as an information
officer, writing news releases, letters and reports.
Later she became editor of a bimonthly newspaper and
a college lecturer.
Now,
with over 20 years of experience in the communications
field, Jane is known for her ability to convey up-to-date
subject matter in an entertaining and relaxed manner.
She uses real business examples and customizes her
material so her audiences can easily relate to the
topic.
In
addition to her own customized workshops, Jane
also
conducts public workshops for the Canadian Management
Centre.
A
recognized expert in the field of business communications,
Jane has been interviewed on radio and TV. Both her
books, The Minute Taker's Handbook and Write On! Business
Writing Basics are best sellers. In addition, she
has written over 200 published articles.
Jane
Watson is a former member of the Canadian Association
of Professional Speakers and is the past Chairman
of the Board of Governors of Credit Valley Hospital
in Mississauga.
Jane
is a voracious reader of newly-published business
materials keeping her on the leading-edge of the communications
industry.
